Magic Shoes English

Magic Shoes are an original creation designed with full inspiration.

These shoes are exclusive and hand made. Intended to be a gift to your feet, they are custom made and characterized by their comfort as they mold themselves naturally to your feet.

They feel soft but are also firm and long lasting.

Made with shining string and joyful colors, the reinforced cotton is specially brought from Argentina. The sole is made of natural leather and rubber resistant to the passage of time and long walks. In some models we even incorporate reused bike tires giving them even more durability. They can be hand or machine washed.

The high quality of these shoes lies not only in the materials used, but in their unique and personalized confection.

Zaptitios Magicos Espanol

English

Joaquina Avila Gancedo was born in the heroic Port of San Blas, Nayarit, México in August 16 of 1946

From an early age I felt desires to draw and paint with water colors , this was a natural because I never received a formal orientation to the art of painting, then you can to say that I am a autodidact.

I experienced a long period from painting because motherhood requires full-time, which makes axial relatively short time. After some time, I returned to painting. I do not consider my works very or fairly good, then painted by taste because for me is a way to keep my mind active and if it is something that I like, I say paint by love of art.

For any questions or interest in any of my paintings, please send an Email

Thanks very much.

Muchas Gracias

Pendant and ring by San Pancho custom jeweler Marco Huizar

rings by Marco
Artist Statement
Marco Huizar’s introduction to jewelry making began in 1987 as a student of sculpture at Escuela de Artes Plasticas, Universidad of Guadalajara. As an apprentice of Porfiro Valencia, a family of traditional metalsmiths, his knowledge of different techniques and uses of various metals expanded.

In his collections, Marco Huizar uses unexpected combinations of materials, metals and stones while always mindful of the strength and balance in his work.

Marco Huizar Jewelry is created and exhibited in Mexico and the United States.

Biography
Marco Antonio Huizar works and lives in both San Francisco, Nayarit Mexico and in San Francisco, California. Born in Mesquitic, a small ranch town in the mountains of Northern Jalisco, Marco’s early memories are set in the enchanting backdrop of old world Mexico. At the age of 4, Marco’s family moved to the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco where he grew up and studied at Escuela de Artes Plasticas , Universidad de Guadalajara in 1987.

Marco’s passion for design was realized as a student of Sculpture; later he discovered his art in creating jewelry when he became an apprentice of a third-generation metalsmith. Still in his teens, Marco began learning the craft of jewelry making – working beside his mentor and friend, Sr. Porfirio Valencia.

In 1995, Marco left Mexico to work and create his own collection in California. While living in the city of San Francisco, his work was featured in exhibits at the Velvet da Vinci “ Latin American Designers Exhibition”, Balazo Gallery “Open studios”, Lava9 & Gallery of Jewels stores, and ArtistXchange Gallery, Fabric8 store and website. He then continued to learn and practice various techniques while traveling in the Philippine Islands, Cuba and Eastern United States before returning to Mexico to live in the coast of Nayarit.- where he finds inspiration in living simply, among local artists and craftspeople.

Creative Process
Marco Huizar Jewelry is created by himself – a process beginning with designing around the beauty of a unique stone or another natural material such as wood or shell, then creates wax carvings which are casted in solid metal (silver, platinum or gold)- a process called “lost wax casting”. As a one-person operation, Marco works in his modest workshop in Mexico and in California.

The creations of Eloryia RA, an inspirational visionary painter with a mystical mind and magical talent. Original art prints of watercolors, and photography of Angels , Fairies, Goddesses, mermaids, dolphins and other enchanted beings and places.

Eloryia has been illustrating and painting original art since the early age of 5 years old. She knew in that moment when she was handed a few paints in kindergarten and asked to create something, that art would become a major part of her life. As a child she continued to illustrate and was able to reproduce any image large or small, yet she did not begin to explore color until the age of 33 while living in Sedona Arizona. The magic of the area inspired her to be courageous enough to experiment with watercolor.

In later years she picked up a camera and has not put it down since. Eloryia now combines original watercolor and acrylic paintings with photography.

Eloryia resides at the Sacred Garden in the Sangre de Cristo Mts of Colorado in the summer and the winter months are spent exploring the photographic opportunities in Mexico, Central America and Europe.
