The TRABAJARTE collective is
comprised of women who learn to make and sell art and craftwork in
order to help support their families. The women participate in
classes held at entreamigos, use mostly recycled materials in their
artwork and share their skills and enthusiasm with other women in
the community. In many cases, the money earned from the sales of their work is the only income in the family. When you visit San Pancho be sure to check out the amazing new products of the women’s collective TRABAJARTE at the entreamigos store!
Entreamigos is also proud to announce a new
endeavor in collaboration with many of their artists. Due to
overwhelming requests for wider distribution, entreamigos is working
with the talented women of Zapatos Magicos to begin an international
distribution of the handmade shoes that we know and love. The women
are working hard to develop their product line and marketing
materials but right now, if you are interested in ordering or
checking out the shoes you can visit them at their new website. It’s a great cause and a great way to participate in the community!
